Montana Breweries Montana is home to over a dozen microbreweries. With the passing of many old world brewmasters, the onslaught of the larger commercial breweries, and prohibition, Montana breweries nearly became extinct. Fortunately, in the past decade there has been a major revival of native brewing. Local beer can now be sampled in nearly every major Montana city.
